Life Drawing. Rugged Edward.

I really liked drawing this man. He was bony, and had fly away hair and I think (hope) that the drawings I produced caputred his essence. We played around with adding collage, mostly maps, into the drawings, but if I'm honest, I find that the ones with out it worked a lot better. This is the first life drawing project that I've done so far that I've felt was successful for me - we were using contour lines and single line drawing, playing with using our left hand and so on. I find that my drawings work better when they aren't as literal and laboured. Perhaps thats because, to be frank, I can't draw fantastically well.
